Lavender Hydrosol is a byproduct of essential oil distillation; a subtle lavender-smelling distilled water. Lavender hydrosol is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial (similar to the essential oil, in a more diluted state). There are a variety of uses ranging from household cleaner to facial toner. The smell differs slightly from the essential oil and can be described as having a more earthy scent.
